RE BarCamp OC Checklist

If you registered today, or still haven’t registered at all (shame on you!), you didn’t receive the following email that was sent to all who have RSVP’d.  Because it’s got some good info in it detailing out what you need to know for tomorrow, we’ve posted it here for your reference.  RE BarCamp is just a few hours away…see you soon!

Attire: The event is casual. Come comfortable.

Location: UCI Student Center at UC Irvine – A311 Student Center, Irvine, CA 92697.  Map and driving directions here.  There will also be directional signs on campus helping you find the event location.

Parking: Please plan on parking at the UCI Student Center parking garage (directly accross from the event location).  Pay the $8 bucks – We’d hate to have this free event cost you a tow for your vehicle.  The $8 is well worth it.

Attendee Check-In:

• Check-In:  Registration opens at 8:00.  For new attendees, Barcamp Bootcamp begins at 8:30.  The day officially kicks off at 9:00 and goes until 4:15.
• Arrival: When you arrive, please check-in at the registration desk to pick up your name badge and your important stickers for voting on sessions.

Schedule of Events

• 8:00 am: Registration opens (and coffee available!)
• 8:00 am: Session voting opens
• 8:30 – 9:00 am:  BarCamp BootCamp Session – Perfect for those new to RE BarCamp.
• 9:00 – 9:10 am: Welcome Message
• 9:45 am:  Session Voting Closes
• 10:00 – 10:45 am: Session 1
• 11:00 – 11:45 am: Session 2
• 11:45 – 1:30 pm: Lunch on your own (several options available within walking distance)
• 1:30 – 2:15 pm:  Session 3
• 2:30 -3:15 pm: Session 4
• 4:15 pm:  Happy Hour at the Anthill Pub & Grille (upstairs from the event)
